Data Deletion Instructions
You can request deletion of your ORYN Quest account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make the request and what happens next.
How to request deletion
- Fastest — do it yourself, right now. Sign in, open Account, choose Delete account and confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately, in the app and on the website. The steps, and what happens to an active membership, credits and bookings, are on the account-deletion page.
- If you cannot sign in, email support@orynquest.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Send it from the email address on your ORYN Quest account where you can; if you cannot — for example, you signed in with Apple using Hide My Email — say so in the message.
- We confirm it is really you before anything is deleted: we reply to the address on your account (Apple’s private relay forwards our reply to you), or ask you to confirm the request from inside your account while signed in.
- Once confirmed, we delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days and send you a completion confirmation.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile and sign-in identity
- Child profiles you created, including developmental insights
- Favorites, saved vendors, and AI assistant personalization data
- Social sign-in connections (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Apple) linked to your account
- Your name, contact details, avatar, and location, removed from your profile and from anything shown in the app — retained messages, reviews, and community content are no longer attributed to you
Some records are retained where the law or platform safety requires it — booking and payment records, policy acceptances, and signed waivers (a signature record keeps the signed name, as the law requires), plus a one-way hashed record that your account received its welcome credits so a new account with the same email address or mobile number cannot claim them again, as described in our Data Retention Policy. These are kept only as long as necessary and are also summarized in our Privacy Policy.
If you signed in with Facebook, Google, or another provider
Deleting your ORYN Quest account removes the data we received from your social sign-in provider. You can additionally revoke ORYN Quest’s access from the provider’s own settings (for example, Facebook’s Settings → Apps and Websites or your Google Account’s Connections page). Requests forwarded to us by a provider’s data-deletion callback are handled the same way as direct requests.
