Parent Code of Conduct

This Parent Code of Conduct (“Code”) outlines expectations for Parents and Guardians (“Parents”) whose children participate in activities offered by independent providers (“Vendors”) through the ORYN Quest platform (“Platform”). By booking an activity, you agree to follow this Code.

1. RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOR

Parents agree to:

  • treat Vendors, staff, and other families respectfully,
  • communicate courteously and professionally,
  • avoid abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior,
  • follow Vendor rules and instructions.

2. ACCURATE INFORMATION

Parents must provide accurate and current information, including:

  • child name and age,
  • emergency contact details,
  • relevant medical or behavioral information,
  • accommodation needs (if applicable).

Providing incomplete or inaccurate information may affect safety.

3. ARRIVAL & PICKUP RESPONSIBILITY

Parents are responsible for:

  • ensuring timely arrival and pickup,
  • supervising children before check‑in and after dismissal,
  • following Vendor check‑in and pickup procedures,
  • notifying Vendors of authorized pickup persons.

ORYN Quest does not provide transportation or supervision.

4. COMMUNICATION

Parents agree to:

  • respond promptly to Vendor communications,
  • remain reachable during activities,
  • notify Vendors of schedule conflicts or cancellations,
  • communicate concerns directly and respectfully.

5. CHILD BEHAVIOR SUPPORT

Parents agree to:

  • ensure their child understands basic behavior expectations,
  • support Vendors in maintaining a safe environment,
  • pick up their child promptly if requested due to safety or behavior issues.

6. ACCOMMODATIONS

Parents may submit accommodation requests. Parents understand that:

  • Vendors determine whether accommodations can be reasonably provided,
  • not all requests can be fulfilled,
  • ORYN Quest does not guarantee acceptance.

7. MEDIA & PRIVACY

Parents agree to:

  • review Vendor media policies before participation,
  • communicate clearly if they do not consent to photography or recording,
  • respect other families’ privacy.

8. HEALTH & SAFETY

Parents agree to:

  • keep children home if sick or contagious,
  • provide necessary medications or equipment,
  • inform Vendors of allergies or medical conditions,
  • follow Vendor safety rules.

9. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Parents may not:

  • harass or threaten Vendors or staff,
  • disrupt activities or interfere with operations,
  • use offensive or discriminatory language,
  • misuse Vendor or child information,
  • attempt to bypass ORYN Quest for future bookings,
  • falsify child information or identity.

10. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Parents agree to:

  • follow Vendor cancellation and refund policies,
  • understand that missed classes or late arrivals are typically non‑refundable,
  • contact Vendors directly for refund questions.

11. ACCOUNTABILITY

ORYN Quest may suspend or terminate Parent accounts for:

  • repeated violations of this Code,
  • unsafe or disruptive behavior,
  • misuse of the Platform,
  • conduct that risks harm to children, Vendors, or staff.
