Community Guidelines
Version 2.1 — Last updated August 18, 2026
ORYN Quest, Inc. ("ORYN Quest," "we," "our," "us") is committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and safe environment for the families, children, and Vendors who use the ORYN Quest platform (the "Platform").
These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") apply to all users — Parents, Guardians, Vendors, and participants — and to all content and activity on the Platform, including:
- community feed posts and comments,
- community groups,
- direct messages,
- reviews and ratings,
- profiles and activity listings, and
- interactions with the ORYN Quest AI assistant.
By using the Platform, you agree to follow these Guidelines. These Guidelines work together with the Terms of Use, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Child Safety Policy, the Trust & Safety Policy, and the applicable codes of conduct.
ARTICLE 1 — BE RESPECTFUL
All users must:
- treat others with courtesy and respect,
- communicate professionally,
- avoid harassment, threats, or abusive language, and
- respect cultural, personal, and individual differences.
Disrespectful behavior may result in account suspension.
ARTICLE 2 — PRIORITIZE SAFETY
Safety is a shared responsibility. Users must:
- follow Vendor safety rules,
- provide accurate information,
- avoid dangerous or disruptive behavior, and
- report safety concerns to Vendors or ORYN Quest.
ARTICLE 3 — HONEST AND ACCURATE INFORMATION
All users must provide truthful information, including:
- child details,
- activity descriptions,
- schedules,
- qualifications, and
- emergency contacts.
Misrepresentation may result in removal from the Platform.
ARTICLE 4 — RESPONSIBLE COMMUNICATION
4.1 Users agree to:
- communicate clearly and respectfully,
- respond promptly when needed,
- avoid spam or irrelevant messages, and
- use Platform messaging appropriately.
4.2 Automated message screening. Platform messaging is protected by automated moderation:
- (a) messages containing offensive language are blocked; and
- (b) messages that attempt to steer payment off the Platform or to arrange off-platform transactions for Platform activities are flagged or blocked.
Keeping transactions on the Platform is what funds its safety systems and protects both sides of a booking.
4.3 Vendor outreach limits. Vendors may not send unsolicited cold messages to Parents; Vendor messaging is gated to established booking or inquiry relationships as described in the Vendor Agreement.
ARTICLE 5 — PROTECT PRIVACY
5.1 Users must:
- respect the privacy of children and families,
- avoid sharing others' personal information without consent,
- follow Vendor media policies, and
- avoid unauthorized photography or recording.
5.2 Kid-safety absolutes for public content. Never post a child's personal information in any public or community surface — including reviews, posts, comments, and group content — whether the child is yours or another family's. This includes:
- (a) full name;
- (b) face-identifiable photographs with identifying context;
- (c) school or program location details;
- (d) home address or neighborhood;
- (e) schedules or whereabouts; and
- (f) contact information or social-media handles.
5.3 Never use community surfaces to solicit contact with, information about, or photographs of any child. Violations of Sections 5.2 and 5.3 are treated as child-safety violations under Article 7.
ARTICLE 6 — NO DISCRIMINATION OR HATEFUL CONDUCT
ORYN Quest does not tolerate discrimination based on:
- race,
- ethnicity,
- religion,
- gender,
- disability,
- sexual orientation, or
- any other protected characteristic.
Harassment or hateful behavior results in immediate removal.
ARTICLE 7 — APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR AROUND CHILDREN
7.1 All users must:
- maintain appropriate boundaries,
- avoid inappropriate physical, verbal, or written conduct toward any child,
- interact with children only through Platform features designed for that purpose and only in connection with a booked activity,
- never contact a child directly outside Platform features, including by phone, text, email, social media, gaming platforms, or in-person meetings unrelated to a scheduled activity,
- never request or collect personal information from a minor, including full name, home address, school, phone number, email address, social media handles, photographs, or schedule details, and
- report concerning behavior immediately.
7.2 Reporting concerning behavior is mandatory. If you observe or suspect grooming, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or any other conduct that may endanger a child, you must report it to ORYN Quest at support@orynquest.com without delay. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then notify ORYN Quest.
7.3 Additional child-protection requirements appear in the Child Safety Policy, the Vendor Code of Conduct, and the Parent Code of Conduct. Violations of this Article result in immediate removal from the Platform and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
ARTICLE 8 — REVIEW INTEGRITY
8.1 Authentic experiences only. Reviews and ratings must reflect your genuine, firsthand experience with an activity or Vendor arising from a real booking. Do not review activities you did not attend.
8.2 Prohibited review conduct. The following are prohibited for all users and Vendors:
- (a) fake, fabricated, or duplicate reviews, and reviews of your own business or a competitor's business;
- (b) offering or accepting payment, discounts, credits, or other incentives in exchange for a review or for changing or removing one;
- (c) review swapping, coordinated rating campaigns, and review bombing;
- (d) pressuring, threatening, or retaliating against a user over a review, or conditioning service on favorable reviews ("review gating"); and
- (e) including a child's personal information, other users' private information, or unlawful content in a review.
8.3 Honest negative reviews are allowed. A truthful, civil account of a poor experience is not a violation. ORYN Quest does not remove content solely because it is unfavorable.
8.4 Quality signals have consequences. Ratings feed the Platform's vendor-quality systems: sustained low ratings automatically place a Vendor account under probation review, and quality trends inform enforcement under the Trust & Safety Policy. Manipulating reviews therefore corrupts a safety signal and is treated as a serious violation.
ARTICLE 9 — PUBLIC CONTENT AND SHARE PAGES
9.1 Certain Platform content is intentionally public so links can be previewed and shared: share pages and link-preview cards exist for activities, Vendors, community groups, community posts, and referral invitations.
9.2 Post accordingly. Content you post to community surfaces may appear:
- (a) on public share pages reachable without an account;
- (b) in link previews on social platforms and messaging apps; and
- (c) in search results.
Do not post anything you would not want publicly visible, and follow the kid-safety absolutes of Article 5 everywhere.
9.3 Public visibility does not change ownership or license terms, which are described in the Intellectual Property Policy and your role agreement.
ARTICLE 10 — MODERATION: HOW IT WORKS
10.1 Automated and human review. The Platform combines automated moderation with human review:
- (a) messages are screened automatically as described in Article 4.2;
- (b) community comments are screened automatically at submission: a comment containing offensive language, or personal contact details such as a phone number, email address, or street address, is refused with an explanation before it is posted;
- (c) community posts are scanned at submission for personal-contact patterns (such as phone numbers, email addresses, and street addresses) and are flagged for moderator review when a pattern is found; and
- (d) flagged items and user reports are routed to a moderation queue for review by our team.
10.2 Content removal. ORYN Quest may remove or restrict any content that violates these Guidelines, the Terms of Use, or applicable law. We may remove content without prior notice when necessary to protect children, prevent harm, or comply with legal obligations.
10.3 Imperfect systems. Automated moderation may occasionally block legitimate content or miss violating content. If your content was blocked or removed in error, use the appeals process in Article 12.
10.4 No duty to monitor. ORYN Quest's moderation efforts do not create an obligation to monitor all content or a duty to detect every violation, as further described in the Terms of Use.
ARTICLE 11 — REPORTING
11.1 Help us keep the Platform safe. You can report violations of these Guidelines:
- using the in-app report tools on community posts and comments, or
- by emailing support@orynquest.com — including reports about profiles, listings, messages, or any other content or conduct that has no in-app report tool.
11.2 When reporting, please include:
- what happened,
- where on the Platform it occurred,
- who was involved (usernames or listing names, if known), and
- any relevant screenshots or details.
11.3 Reports are reviewed by our team and handled as confidentially as reasonably possible. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report. Knowingly false or malicious reports are themselves a violation of these Guidelines.
11.4 For emergencies or situations involving immediate danger to a child, always contact local emergency services first.
ARTICLE 12 — ENFORCEMENT AND APPEALS
12.1 Graduated sanctions. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, ORYN Quest may apply one or more of the following, generally in escalating order, consistent with the enforcement framework of the Trust & Safety Policy:
- (a) a written warning;
- (b) removal of the violating content;
- (c) temporary restriction of specific features (such as messaging, community posting, or reviews);
- (d) temporary account suspension; and
- (e) permanent account termination.
12.2 Immediate action. ORYN Quest may skip steps and apply immediate suspension or termination for serious violations, including any conduct involving child safety, threats, harassment, discrimination, fraud, review manipulation at scale, or illegal activity.
12.3 Effect on bookings and credits. Enforcement actions do not, by themselves, entitle a user to a refund. Refund or credit questions arising from an enforcement action are handled under the Subscription, Membership, Credits, Refund & Cancellation Policy and the applicable role agreement.
12.4 Appeals. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error — including an automated moderation decision — you may appeal by contacting support@orynquest.com within fourteen (14) days of the action. Include your account email and a brief explanation. We review appeals in good faith and respond with a final decision. Enforcement decisions involving child safety are not eligible for reinstatement appeals.
ARTICLE 13 — CHANGES TO THESE GUIDELINES
We may update these Guidelines from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on the Platform and update the version number and effective date above. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Platform or by email, and account holders may be prompted to review and accept the updated Guidelines.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Guidelines. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the Platform and see the Terms of Use for account closure options.
Questions about these Guidelines may be sent to support@orynquest.com or submitted through https://orynquest.com.
