Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0 — Last updated July 18, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy" or "AUP") sets the rules of conduct for everyone who accesses the ORYN Quest platform, including its websites, mobile applications, APIs, messaging systems, community features, AI features, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by ORYN Quest, Inc. ("ORYN Quest," "Company," "we," "our," "us").

This Policy applies to all users — Parents, Guardians, Vendors, Vendor staff acting through Vendor Accounts, and visitors — and is incorporated into the Terms of Use, the Parent & Guardian Terms and Conditions, and the Vendor Agreement. If this Policy conflicts with those documents, those documents control. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Parent & Guardian Terms and Conditions. Detailed conduct standards also appear in the Community Guidelines, the Child Safety Policy, the Parent Code of Conduct, and the Vendor Code of Conduct; this Policy consolidates the baseline rules and adds platform-integrity and technical rules that apply to everyone.

ARTICLE 1 — GENERAL PRINCIPLE

1.1 The Standard

Use the Platform only for its intended purpose — discovering, offering, booking, and managing children's Activities and participating in the family community around them — lawfully, honestly, and in a way that keeps children safe. If a use of the Platform would surprise or alarm a reasonable parent, it is almost certainly prohibited here.

1.2 Responsibility for Your Account

You are responsible for all activity under your Account and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts are for adults (18+) only; children never have Accounts.

ARTICLE 2 — NO UNLAWFUL USE

You may not use the Platform:

  • (a) to violate any Applicable Law or regulation;
  • (b) to commit, facilitate, or conceal fraud, money laundering, or any financial crime;
  • (c) to infringe the rights of any person, including privacy, publicity, and intellectual-property rights; or
  • (d) to advertise, offer, or solicit anything illegal, or any product or service prohibited for minors in a listing or community context.

ARTICLE 3 — PROTECTION OF CHILDREN

Conduct that endangers a child is the most serious violation of this Policy and results in immediate removal from the Platform and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. You may not:

  • (a) engage in, attempt, or facilitate any abuse, exploitation, grooming, or endangerment of a minor;
  • (b) contact a child directly outside Platform features, or interact with children other than through Platform features designed for that purpose in connection with a booked Activity;
  • (c) request or collect personal information from or about a minor, including name, address, school, contact details, photographs, or schedule details, except as a Parent providing information about their own child through intended Platform features;
  • (d) upload or share content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors in any way; or
  • (e) fail to report conduct described in this Article — reporting suspected child endangerment is mandatory under the Community Guidelines and the Child Safety Policy. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first.

ARTICLE 4 — NO HARASSMENT, HATE, OR ABUSE

You may not:

  • (a) harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any person;
  • (b) post or send hateful, discriminatory, or degrading content, including content targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic;
  • (c) incite or threaten violence or self-harm; or
  • (d) engage in stalking, doxxing, or unwanted persistent contact.

Platform messaging is automatically screened: messages containing slurs, hate, or explicit threats are blocked at sending, and other abusive content may be flagged for human review and enforcement, as described in the Trust & Safety Policy.

ARTICLE 5 — PLATFORM INTEGRITY — PAYMENTS AND BOOKINGS

The Platform's Credit system funds the safeguards families rely on. You may not:

  • (a) solicit, arrange, or accept payment for a Platform-originated booking outside the Platform, including cash deals or payment-app transfers arranged through Platform messaging;
  • (b) use Platform messaging to steer a booking off-Platform, quote off-Platform cash prices to circumvent the Credit system, or share contact information for the purpose of moving transactions off the Platform (such messages are flagged for review, and repeat circumvention is an enforcement matter);
  • (c) manipulate Credits, promotions, referral rewards, discounts, or payouts through fraud, self-dealing, fake accounts, or abuse of program mechanics; or
  • (d) initiate chargebacks fraudulently or in bad faith (see the Refund Policy).

Nothing in this Article prohibits ordinary conversation about an Activity — it prohibits circumventing the Platform for transactions that originate on it.

ARTICLE 6 — HONEST INFORMATION AND CONTENT

You may not:

  • (a) provide false information in registration, profiles, listings, or Bookings, including false child information, false credentials, or false business information;
  • (b) misrepresent qualifications, certifications, insurance, safety practices, or accommodation capabilities in listings or communications;
  • (c) post fake, purchased, incentivized-without-disclosure, or retaliatory reviews or ratings, or review your own or a competitor's offerings deceptively;
  • (d) impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or
  • (e) submit knowingly false reports or complaints through Platform reporting or dispute channels.

ARTICLE 7 — TECHNICAL RESTRICTIONS AND SECURITY

7.1 No Unauthorized Access or Interference

You may not:

  • (a) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform, or breach or circumvent any authentication, authorization, or security measure;
  • (b) access another user's Account, data, or non-public areas of the Platform without authorization;
  • (c) interfere with the Platform's operation, including by imposing an unreasonable load, circumventing rate limits, or disrupting other users' access;
  • (d) introduce malware, or use the Platform to distribute malicious code; or
  • (e) circumvent, disable, or interfere with moderation, safety, or content-screening systems.

7.2 No Scraping or Unauthorized Automation

You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-collect data from the Platform, or access the Platform by automated means, except through interfaces ORYN Quest expressly makes available for that purpose and subject to their terms. This includes harvesting user, child, Vendor, or listing data for any purpose, including training machine-learning models, without ORYN Quest's prior written consent.

7.3 No Reverse Engineering

Except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by Applicable Law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, models, or underlying components of the Platform.

7.4 Reporting Vulnerabilities

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, report it to support@orynquest.com with "SECURITY" in the subject line, and do not exploit it, access others' data, or disclose it publicly while we investigate. Good-faith security reports are appreciated and will not be treated as violations of Section 7.1 where the reporter avoids privacy harm and service disruption.

ARTICLE 8 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You may not upload, post, or transmit content that infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary right, and you may not use ORYN Quest's name, logos, or branding except as permitted by the governing agreements. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you post, including photographs and media that include other people or other people's children.

ARTICLE 9 — AI FEATURE RULES

The Platform's AI features (chat and voice assistants, recommendations, and related tools) are part of the Platform and subject to this Policy and the AI Features Terms. You may not:

  • (a) attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or prompt-inject AI features into ignoring their instructions, safety rules, or access controls;
  • (b) use AI features to attempt to access data, accounts, or administrative functions you are not authorized to access;
  • (c) use AI features to generate content prohibited by this Policy, including harassing, hateful, deceptive, or child-endangering content;
  • (d) use AI features to fabricate reviews, listings, credentials, or other content presented as factual; or
  • (e) abuse AI features through excessive automated use or attempts to extract underlying models, prompts, or other users' information.

ARTICLE 10 — MESSAGING AND COMMUNITY RULES

10.1 Messaging

Platform messaging exists for communication about Activities, Bookings, and Platform participation between the parties to it. You may not use it for spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or solicitation unrelated to the Platform. Vendors are restricted from unsolicited first-contact messages to Parents with whom they have no booking relationship. Message screening and flagging practices are described in the Trust & Safety Policy.

10.2 Community Surfaces

Community feeds, groups, reviews, and profiles are governed by the Community Guidelines, which apply alongside this Policy. Respect other families' privacy: do not share personal information about others — especially children — without consent.

ARTICLE 11 — ENFORCEMENT AND APPEALS

11.1 Enforcement

ORYN Quest may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and take enforcement action under the graduated framework of the Trust & Safety Policy: warning, content removal, feature restrictions, Vendor probation, temporary suspension, and permanent termination. ORYN Quest may skip steps for serious violations and takes immediate action, without prior warning, for child endangerment. Enforcement may also include Credit or payout consequences as provided in the Refund Policy and the Vendor Agreement, referral to law enforcement, and preservation and disclosure of records as permitted or required by law.

11.2 No Refund from Enforcement

Enforcement actions do not, by themselves, entitle a user to a refund; refund questions are governed by the Refund Policy.

11.3 Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting support@orynquest.com within 14 days of the action, as described in the Community Guidelines. Enforcement decisions involving child safety are not eligible for reinstatement appeals.

ARTICLE 12 — REPORTING VIOLATIONS

Report suspected violations of this Policy using the in-app report tools or by emailing support@orynquest.com (use "SAFETY" in the subject line for safety concerns, "SECURITY" for vulnerabilities). ORYN Quest prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first.

ARTICLE 13 — CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide notice through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
